LITIGATION SUPPORT AND EXPERT WITNESS

I have provided forensic accounting and litigation support services as a member of litigation teams for over twenty years. I have testified as an expert accounting witness in federal and state courts in Florida and Michigan. I have also testified as an expert accounting witness before the Florida Public Service Commission and before various county commissioners, city commissioners, authority members and hearing examiners.

When testifying in court I know that I must be more prepared on my subject than the other side's attorney. I also listen very carefully to the question that was asked. This combination prevents me from getting tripped up on the witness stand. By giving short answers to some questions and detailed answers to other questions, I can put into the record the information that is necessary to help my client's case.

When testifying before commissioners, authority members and hearing examiners the meetings are generally open to the public and may even be on television. I have learned to make my presentation at a level that those who will make a decision will understand what I am talking about as well as the public in the audience and the public at home. It is very important that everyone understands why something should or should not be done. I have the ability to explain complicated items in simple terms.
